How to plan it

Go Tuesday to Saturday if you want both produce and fish sections open.

Arrive between 7:30 and 9:00 from the Rialto Mercato stop.

See the Pescheria first, then cross to the fruit and vegetable stalls.

Leave through San Polo instead of returning directly to the bridge.

- The official fish market hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 7:00–14:00; produce runs Monday to Saturday, 7:00–20:00.
- Ask before photographing people or stalls at close range.
- Keep delivery routes clear for porters and residents.
